Revisiting Old Favorites

It has been some time since I have shared a monthly favorites related post, well over a year to be exact. Creating a monthly favorites post used to be a post I look forward all month to do. However, some months I did feel some pressure in having to put the content out even though I didn't have much to share or talk about. I gave up on sharing monthly favorites all together and today I thought it would be fun if we revisit some of my old favorites with you guys. I will share whether I'm still loving some of the products I once raved about and I'll even throw in a product or two that I no longer enjoy. I'm thinking of maybe sharing a few posts like this if it ends up being something my readers enjoy. I'm really excited about this so let's begin.

Briogeo - Rosarco Milk Reparative Leave-In Conditioning Spray
Beginning with a hair product. Back in February of 2017 I first shared the Briogeo Rosarco Milk Reparative leave-in conditioning spray. This spray claims to diminish frizz, leave hair soft and shiny while protecting it from heat and UV rays. I have been using this spray ever since and it is essential to my hair care routine. It definitely conditions my hair without weighing it down or making it look or feel greasy. I truly believe this has been one of the main products to help in my hairs health, and I absolutely love everything I have ever tried from Briogeo. I will continue to repurchase this time and time again. It's going on two years since my last updated hair care routine was posted so I have been planning on doing a current version sometime in the following month or so. Would that be something any of you would like to see?
Bath & Body Works - Black Cherry Merlot Candle
This candle was first released at B&BWs back in September of 2016 and I have been in love with it ever since. Black Cherry Merlot candle has definitely been a staple in my candle collection, so I'm very thankful that it has become one of the candles that B&BW carries year round. I know I already said this in my 2016 October favorites but I have to say it again and always, this candle takes me back to when I was a kid back in elementary school when my mom would buy those Juicy Juice boxes. This candle reminds me so much of the grape juice! Am I think only one who thinks of this? Anyway, the notes this candle consists of are; dark cherry, black raspberry, and sumptuous merlot. It is so good and can be burned year round. I also have this scent in their foaming hand wash in the bathroom and their hand sanitizer.

Hunter - Original Short Rain Boot
I talk about these Hunter boots in November 2017 favorites while I was still living in Seattle. I had been wanting these boots for a year prior to purchasing so when the fall rolled about in Washington along with the non-stop rain I knew I needed these. I got so much use out of them while living in Seattle I was even eager to buy myself another pair. Now that we're back in California I'm still finding myself wearing them so much! It has been raining a lot in California and every time I'm slipping my boots on I tell myself how happy I am to own them. They're so easy to slip on and off, they're comfortable, and I never worry if I'm stepping in a puddle since my feet are completely protected. Even while walking on the grass that is slightly muddy. Sometimes I even look for puddles to walk into for fun haha. I 100% recommend these boots to everyone! The quality is great. They're a little pricey for boots but I have owned them for well over a year and they're still in great condition.

Tarte - Clean Queen Deodorant
Antiperspirant such a weird-touchy-personal topic. I've said it before and I'm saying it again, I have always been the person that sweats a little too much in my opinion. It was so embarrassing for me to wear colored clothes because you could immediately see my sweat on my underarms, ugh the worst! Ever since I started using the Tarte clean queen deodorant in June of 2017 it has saved me from all of the embarrassment, and I feel so much more comfortable and confident wearing all kinds of clothes and colors. This is a cruelty-free, aluminum free deodorant that contains aloe vera that helps soothe and condition your underarms to help avoid any kind of irritation. It is a solid deodorant and it applies smoothly. It also smells so good, very fresh and clean. I use this deodorant off and on, I'm never without it and have continued to repurchase it. I don't use it day to day because I have another deodorant that I also really enjoy, plus this helps me kind of conserve the usage of the clean queen because it is a tad bit pricey for an antiperspirant. I love using it specifically during the summer time!

Jo Malone London - Pomegranate Noir Cologne
You best believe I'm going to include a Jo Malone cologne in this post! I am a very big Jo Malone fan and have a very good amount of fragrances. My obsession for the brand started up back in August 2017 and it's continued to grow since then. In February 2018, I purchased the Pomegranate Noir cologne on a whim because one of my favorite bloggers KATE LA VIE would always rave about how it's the perfect winter scent. When looking up the notes; (pomegranate, raspberry, plum juice spiked with pink pepper, Casablanca lily, and spicy woods.) it all sounded so lovely but I was a bit worried about the spicy woods note. I've never been much of a fan of woodsy fragrances. I can very easily say that Pomegranate Noir is my number one favorite cologne by Jo Malone! I absolutely love it and as soon as Winter arrives I use it close to every single day. It's so delicious from its dark juicy fruity scent and the kick of woodiness, it's pure perfection. If you have not smelled this fragrance I very highly suggest you do so. As I said my collection of Jo Malone colognes has grown a lot and I have been thinking of sharing a JM cologne collection post. What do you guys think about that?

Quay Australia x Desi Perkins High Key *Not Pictured*
When Quay Australia first released their sunglasses collab with Desi their shades wasn't something I felt I desperately needed. I thought they looked very nice but at the time I had opted for a different pair. A few months later I really wanted to get my hands on the High Key in gold that I talked about on my August 2017 favorites. A couple of months later I even purchased the gunmetal black and rose gold color. I got pretty good use out of them, specifically the gold pair it was my favorite. Unfortunately, it has now been months since I've even touched the gold pair and the gunmetal I think I last used them over the Summer. I still think they have a very nice look to them, they're just not my style anymore since I have been really into a more simple look. I've been all about the more timeless and classic sunglasses. I went ahead and sold them earlier this month, I wanted them to have a new home with someone else that would give them the love they deserve.
How did you guys like this little twist of revisiting some of my old favorites? I thought this was a fun way to see some of the stuff that I ended up really loving, longterm, while also seeing some of the stuff I no longer love for whatever reason. I hope you guys enjoyed this post because I think I would love sharing more content like this!
