Mio Vicino

In today's Food Series post we are visiting a cute Italian Pasta & Pizzeria Cafe restaurant in Santa Clara called Mio Vicino. The first time we visited this place was during one of our visits to California while we were still living in Washington. My cousin treated us to dinner here and we both quickly became fans of the food. Back in September, for mine and Rudy's wedding anniversary, we decided to have dinner here since we both had been dying to go back again and of course it was the perfect occasion to do so.

This restaurant like I said is super cute and has such a warm welcoming feeling. There are small tables throughout the place and a pretty display of all their wine and wine glasses. Mio Vicino is somewhat of a hotspot so make sure to arrive a little earlier than dinner time or make reservations because this place gets busy!
They first start you off with complimentary bread with a plate containing garlic that you mix in olive oil and balsamic vinegar. This is so good! I didn't think I'd be a fan of the garlic but it actually tastes slightly sweet and soft. This is probably the main reason why I love this place so much. During our first visit, I ordered pizza and since it was so good and I loved it so much I decided to once again order myself a pizza.
I ordered their Margherita pizza. It is so good which explains why I ordered the same style two times in a row. I've heard a lot of good things about their cheese and spinach ravioli. I have yet to try it out for myself but hopefully, on our next visit, I will.
Rudy also loves their pizza and ordered their Fire pizza that comes that jalapenos and a glass of Birra Moretti beer.
As I mentioned above, I became a fan of this place quickly after our first visit and can't wait to go back many more times and try out some more of their foods! Have you ever heard of Mio Vicino Pasta & Pizzeria Cafe?
