Glossier Top 5 Picks

If you've been reading my blog for a while now you will have noticed my constant talk about Glossier, for good reason of course. The brand so has many amazing products and I've tried quite a few myself. Today I have for you my top five picks of Glossier items that I think everyone must try!
For anyone who is placing their very first Glossier order I always, always recommend them trying the infamous Balm Dotcom. Out of all the products, I have tried from them the balm dotcom is the one I use all day every day it's so good! I'm one of those people who is constantly using chapsticks and balm dotcom works wonders on dry lips. It does a phenomenal job of hydrating my lips and quickly. I absolutely love applying a generous amount at night before bed and when I wake up my lips are velvety smooth. This balm is so good that most mornings when I wake up I still have some product left on my lips! The balm dotcom comes in a variety of flavors so you can choose whichever suits your preference. I recommend picking up the Balm Dotcom Trio because you get to choose three different flavors and you also save some money. So far I have tried the rose, coconut and original and I have to say the coconut is my favorite.

This next product is another one I can't see myself living without and I'm talking about the Wowder powder. When Glossier released their very first powder I was beyond excited for this. I have already featured this loose powder in my August Favorites along with its own review post. Clearly, I'm in love. This powder is an absolute dream that everyone can use it from people with dry and oily skin. I myself have oily skin and this powder sets my makeup beautifully leaving a flawless finish. I never look cakey or like I have makeup on. It's so natural looking. Wowder is so light-weight and sets my makeup without making me look oily. Since this powder is so light and airy I know of many ladies with dry skin who also love this. I enjoyed wearing this during hot summer days and I'm really looking forward to continuing using it for winter. My skin has been going through a rough patch lately with the cold that I've been getting dry patches and I'm thankful that the Wowder doesn't accentuate them. Wowder is a must try for sure!

Now for a skincare product, the Super Pure serum is incredible. Just like probably all the products in this post, I raved about this serum in a recent monthly favorite. I love this so much. I have problematic skin and normally get blemishes often. The super pure serum has really done a great job at keeping most of my blemishes at bay. I try to do the most when it comes to preventing breakouts and I was searching for the perfect daytime serum. Super pure is perfect for my morning routine since it isn't thick or oily, it absorbs into the skin and dries down immediately. After applying this serum I go in with my moisturizer followed by my makeup of the day. My makeup sits very well over the serum and I don't worry about it slipping around through the day. Normally I use two drops and concentrate most of it on my more problematic areas of the face; chin and jawline. Whatever is left of my face I pat it into the rest of my face. Once I run out of this (which will be soon!) I know I will have to pick up another bottle. Glossier has a total of three serums and they all sound lovely, I definitely want to try them all in the future.

For some time I had been on the hunt for a new brow gel and finally decided to try out the Boy Brow and I'm so glad that I did. This brow gel is a dupe to one of my favorite that sadly isn't a cruelty-free brand. Boy Brow does a really good job at setting my brows in place and has been the best brow gel to actually keep them in place. It thickens my brows making them look fuller than they really are and the product doesn't flake off through the day. I'm left with the illusion of fuller brows and with the tiny brush I'm able to get every strand of hair. I use the shade brown and find that its a great match for my red hair.

I know this post is my top five picks from Glossier, however, I just needed to share these next two products. They're basically the same thing just a little different in consistency. I own both of their Priming Moisturizer and the Priming Moisturizer Rich. Let's begin with the basic priming moisturizer. This moisturizer is a light-weight but buildable moisturizer that is perfect for anyone with oily and dry skin. I have oily skin and found that this is a great cream to use in the morning before makeup since it is so lightweight. My makeup applies so beautifully to it and it doesn't make my skin oily through the day. I love how it preps my skin for my makeup. If one layer isn't quenching enough you can apply another layer and it applies beautifully over top. I always do that whenever I feel some areas of my skin are feeling a bit dehydrated.

Now for the moisturizer rich is basically the same as the priming moisturizer but a thicker formula. This is the ideal nighttime moisturizer or a daily moisturizer for those with dry skin. I picked this up recently since it's been very cold in Washington my skin has been getting dry which is so crazy for me to say. I needed a moisturizer that was thick and that was going to hydrate my skin. I'm so in love with this cream. As soon as I apply it to my skin it melts right in it is so hydrating. You don't need a lot of this product a little goes a long way. My skin looks so plump, glowy and dewy in the morning it's amazing. Whenever I have a blemish that is drying out I make sure to apply this at night especially if I know I'm going to wear makeup the following day. Doing this really helps prevent my makeup from accentuating it. I really wanted to make sure I included both these moisturizers so that I can help both people with dry and oily skin.
