December Favorites

Some items I've been absolutely loving this month.

The Mario Badescu drying lotion is something I always talk about. I'm always recommending this item to friends and family members because it's really that good. This item is one of the most important steps in my skin care routine and I even spoke about it in my skin care routine posts. I mentioned that last month my skin was acting weird and I was breaking out randomly. Now that my skin is back to normal of course I still get those random break outs during that time of the month. I've been using this on my more larger pimples and it always reassures me at how much I love this product. This tiny little bottle is a life saver it works wonders at getting rid of a pimple fast! I only use this at night when I have a pimple or even when I see a pimple is starting to form. If this doesn't make your pimple disappear over night, by morning you will definitely see a huge difference. I know that this product is a life long favorite I can't see myself ever being without it. Everyone needs to have this in the bathroom cabinets.

I've mentioned this before, I rarely wear makeup anymore. The only time I do is on the weekends, if I have a girl date with Imelda, or when I'm on a trip/vacation with Rudy. I'm definitely more than happy to go out without absolutely no makeup on. With that I've been so into skin care and I love allowing my skin to breathe. I always love pampering my skin with different face mask and I've been loving it especially this month. Two of my all time favorite face mask from Orgins and these are also the two I've been using the most. The Out of Trouble face mask is my favorite and I use it at least once a week. I love using this on Mondays since I usually wear makeup all weekend long. I feel this really helps clear out my skin of any breakouts that may be on its way. I also always use this around that time of the month and I swear it really helps clear up my skin. The next face mask is their charcoal mask, Clear Improvement Active Charcoal mask. I used to use it all the time but once I ran out of it I never repurchased it. Sephora recently sent out their $25 gift card for VIB Rouge that you can use with a $50 purchased and I used it to purchase this mask. I'm so happy I did because I forgot how much I loved it. I've been using this mask one to two times a week to really deep clean my skin. I've been absolutely loving the results I get with both these masks, I swear by them. Honestly I love anything from Origins.

I love polaroids I think they are such a fun way to capture wonderful memories especially since a physical photo is printed. In past blog posts I know I've mentioned how much I love my Instax mini camera and this month I found myself using it a lot more. I pulled it out earlier this month and even took it with me to my trip to Seattle. I didn't use it as much as I wanted to over there but I still managed to put it to good use at home. I've made it a tradition to take a photo of our Christmas tree every year and I can't wait to continue doing this. Here is a photo from the ones I have so far of 2013, 2015 and this year. I guess I skipped 2014 somehow, opps.
This next favorite I feel goes side to my Instax camera. I don't think I've ever mentioned it before but I own a Fujifilm Instax Share printer, this is a printer that prints out photos from your phone onto a polaroid! How neat is that?! I love this printer and find it beyond useful. Yes I love my instax camera, but if you own a polaroid camera then you know how tricky it can be taking photos with them at time. Your photos either come out too exposed or dark because there wasn't enough light. That's happened many times to me and ends up being a waste of film, and they aren't cheap. I love that I can take as many pictures I want with my phone, then if I want to print one all I have to do is connect it to the printer through wifi, hit print and it's as simple as that. You're guaranteed a perfect photo every time. This printer is a little pricey but well worth it. You're also able to use the same film in this printer that you use for the Instax camera.

Most of the month I have mainly been burning Christmas candles. Finally I decided to burn something new and pulled out Winter Rose candle from B&BW. I purchased this candle about a month or two ago but never burned it. I have so many candles that were half burned so I was making myself burn all those before burning a completely new candle. I lit this candle for the first time last week and I can't believe it took me so long to do so. I am in love with the way it smells because it's a very fresh floral sent. This candle isn't too much floral nor is it overwhelming and the notes are; rose petal, pink peppercorn, white cedar wood, and luxe sandalwood. I don't even consider this to be a Christmas or Holiday candle but more of a spring one. I really hope B&BW brings back this scent in the future since I only purchased one and would love to have more for the spring time.

Seriously I can't believe this is the last monthly favorites of the year. What were some of your favorites this month and from this year?

  1. I didn't know you have the Fujifilm Instax Share printer, I've been debating on getting that or the actual Polaroid but I been leaning more towards the printer. Winter Rose! Definitely a favorite of mine.

    1. Really, I thought I've mentioned it to you before. I'd recommend both but the printer is definitely a better investment just because you know exactly how the photo will turn out. You should definitely get one. I'm trying to not burn Winter Rose too much so I won't run out :(
