Egg Shop

TGIF and welcome back to another one of my Food Series post! Today I am finally taking you along to visit Egg Shop, one of the most delicious breakfasts/brunch spots I have ever been too! Egg Shop is a cozy little shop that serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner with a variety of egg dishes. Rudy and I visited Egg Shop on our second day in New York and oh boy did we fall in love. From their delicious plates, their stunning color scheme of black, mint, and white and the minimal aesthetic, this my kind of place. I seriously wish we had an Egg Shop location closer because I can definitely go for an egg and avocado toast right about now. I can guarantee you that by the end of this post you'll be wanting to an egg dish from this shop too! Now grab yourself an egg-centric dish, only fitting for today's post, and let's begin!

Beauty + Hair Wishlist

It's extremely rare that I go into Sephora or any beauty selling store, and splurge on a bunch of beauty products. It's quite possible that it's due to not many products grab my interest as they once did and perhaps the fact that I'm so basic and very minimal with myself nowadays. However, every so often I do get an itch of wanting to haul all things beauty related. For a while now there have been a few things I have been lusting over so then I thought what would be more perfect on this wonderful hump-day than daydreaming and share what is currently on my wishlist? It isn't much but I do have a variety of items to share today from skincare to makeup, fragrance and even hair products. Spring is one of my favorite seasons to branch out and try some new to me products. Now let's begin!

MoMA NYC

There were so many places and museums Rudy and I wanted to visit while we were in New York City, and one of the main museums I wanted to see was The Museum of Modern Art. This was one of the first real museums I have ever gone to. It was amazing and it left me wanting to visit so many more. Rudy and I spent hours here, it was huge six stories but only five floors were open for viewing. MoMA is recognized to be one of the largest and most influential museums of modern art in the world and holds over 150,000 individual pieces. This museum is filled with such a large variety of style arts form modern, abstract and contemporary. Some of the popular artworks this museum holds are by artists Vincent van Gogh, Salvador Gali, Pablo Picasso, and Andy Warhol. Now, join me as I share with you some of mine and Rudy's favorite pieces from the MoMA of NYC.

LADURÉE

Bonjour mes amours, and welcome back to another of my Food Series post! For today's post, we are finally jumping into food places I visited during my trip to New York City. Today we are starting off with Ladurée, a luxury French bakery. Ladurée Bakery first began in 1862 in Paris by Louis Ernest Ladurée. In 1871 he then transformed his bakery into a pastry shop that now has eight locations across the United States, the first being the New York Madison location. I'm a sucker for pastries especially a good macaron which was the reason as to why I always dreamed of visit this shop. Join me as I bring you along with me to visit this chic and timeless pastry shop.

Our New York City Trip!

Rudy and I have been back from our honeymoon/vacation/spring break trip to New York for a few weeks now and I can't believe how quickly that trip rushed by. I had the absolute best time there, it was so much more than what I could have ever imagined it to be. New York was utterly breathtaking! Obviously, I took tons of pictures and that is what this post is for. Even though I thought I would have taken way more than what I ended up with, I suppose I was caught up in the moment and the beauty surrounding me, brace yourselves for the photo spam!

Spring is Here

It officially feels like Spring in the Bay Area and I'm so happy about this! I was so over the rain we kept having and was itching for warm sunny days. The weather on Easter Sunday was excellent as the beautiful day was specifically for the Holiday. It was perfect, to say the least especially after spending the entire day before traveling off and on an airplane coming back home from our trip. Rudy and I wanted to take advantage of the lovely weather and spend a couple of hours outside. We ended up having the same idea as many other people and headed to the garden. We walked around, enjoyed all the beautiful blooms around us, and snapped a few outfit photos. Here are some of my favorite photos from Easter.
