What I Wore in New York!

As I mentioned before, I've been wanting to get back to sharing outfit content on my blog again. It was something I used to share from time to time and I had a lot of fun doing it. I thought what better way to get back on it with a what I wore while on vacation NYC edition! During my trip, I took tons of photos and made sure to take daily pictures of my outfits. I'm excited to share them with you so let's begin with day one!

On our first full day in New York, the weather was absolutely amazing. Not too hot not too cold but the sun was definitely out saying hello. I went for something comfy and casual with my blue jeans, tee shirt, and a leather Jacket. I don't think I've raved about the jeans I have fallen in love with, they are the Rockstar High-Rise Super Skinny jeans from Old Navy. I've never been a fan of jeans because I felt they enhanced my size but lately, I have learned to embrace my figure. These jeans are so comfy and I'm obsessed that they're high-rise. I find them to be very flattering on the body. For my shirt, I'm wearing a black ruffled sleeved that you can't really tell because of my jacket which is from Target. I also own this in white and I love that the ruffled sleeves add a little something extra to a plain basic tee. My very well-loved leather jacket that is also from Old Navy, and lastly my checkered slip-on Vans.
I totally forgot to get close-ups on my daily accessories, however, my necklace is a three stacked necklace from H&M which by the way has been rocking it with their jewelry! Sunglasses are from Ray-Ban and my purse is Mansur Gavriel bucket bag in black.
Day two consisted of an all-black outfit, one of my favorites! Again, I wore one of my Old Navy Rockstar High-Rise Super Skinny jeans in black. I wore an older black long-sleeved shirt because it was a bit overcast this day I wanted to make sure I kept warm. Again I used my leather jacket, I brought two jackets on this trip and ended up only using this one the entire time. Now for shoes, I decided to go with my black Old Skool Vans.
As for accessories, I have two stacked necklaces one is a basic chain from Forever 21 and the other is a new favorite of mine from a company called Made by Mary. It's a disc necklace stamped with a Peony, the birth flower for the month of September. You'll never catch me not wearing this Ray-Ban sunnies, and lastly my Mansur Gavriel circle bag in blush. When wearing an all-black outfit I love styling it with a pop of color which most times ends up being my handbag. Plus I'm obsessed with my new bag!
On our final full day in New York, I finally decided to add a bit more color to my wardrobe compared to the previous days. I wore my button down floral blue blouse that I'm obsessed with. I love that it keeps me cool especially during and after our walk to the Brooklyn Bridge! I reused my blue jeans for this outfit since I felt it went better with my shirt rather than black jeans would have. Can't forget my leather jacket and my checkered board Vans. I think white and black in this shoe went very well with my blouse.
Finally, I styled this outfit with another stacked necklace from H&M and this one has a small leafy pendant. Ray-Bans and lastly, I paired this outfit with my Mansur Gavriel circle bag. I love the combo of the blush and blue.

I hope you liked taking a look at what I wore during my trip to New York. I'd love to know if you fancy outfit posts like this. Also, if you've enjoyed seeing photos from this trip and want more, don't worry I can't wait to share even more with all of you (some of these photos you might even see in future posts). Keep an eye out for more in the following weeks to come!
