A Look Back At 2018!

Happy New Year's Eve everyone! Today I am going to look back and share some highlights of twenty-eighteen. I just realized that this is the fourth year in a row that I create a look back at the year kind of post and I'm really pleased that it's been something I continued doing. I love that I get to look back at the past posts and reread everything while remembering how I was feeling the past years. Reminiscing about the late year is one of my favorite ways to ring in the new year. Now if you're interested in checking out my highlights through the year then please continue reading.

One of the first highlights of the year was when Rudy and I got our very first apartment together. It felt so great to have a place of our very own mainly because our prior living situation was a complete nightmare. Life definitely turned around for us once we got out of that toxic living environment and became even better once we removed all of the negative people we once had in our lives. I'm extremely pleased and grateful with how good life has been treating us this year, especially with the countless downs life, had thrown at us the last couple of years. I'm definitely thankful every single day for all the amazing things that have been happening to us ever since.

Another major highlight was when we moved back to California. Honestly, I never thought Rudy and I would ever be moving back to California at least not for years and years. However, I'm so happy we're back and to be surrounded by my family and best of friends. Moving to Washington was a nice temporary change but at the end of the day, it had nothing for us. California is really our home. We missed living here so much that we have been making sure we never miss out on things around the area. It has been really great and a lot of fun.

With being back in California Rudy and I have gone on so many fun adventures. We have visited tons of new places such as pop-up museums and food spots. We visited farms to do some fruit picking which is something I now love to do. I want to make sure we do this all the time. We were also able to visit a lot of our old favorite places like the Spina Farms pumpkin patch. I have been loving sticking to old traditions while also creating new ones together.

In September Rudy and I celebrated our first wedding anniversary! It's still pretty crazy for me that we have been married for over a year now. Marriage is a definite wild and crazy ride but I wouldn't want to experience it with anyone else but Rudy. With celebrating our one year anniversary Rudy and I finally took wedding photos! If you remember, getting wedding photos taken was something I really wanted to do and I'm very happy we made sure it happened. I can't wait to share some of the photos with you all sometime in the future.

It had been a few years since I had a job and as soon as we moved back to California I started working again. I'm not going to go in detail as to what my job is or what I do but I am very happy to be working again and doing something that makes me feel really good. I'm so happy that I get to help out people who mean so much to me along with doing anything I can to make things easier for them. It also feels great to finally get to bring in some money into my household and help out Rudy pay some bills.

Lastly, I wanted to mention how proud I am of my blog. As each year passes I can truly see a huge growth in my blog, not by the following but by my writing, effort, and the work I've been putting in. When the year began I wasn't sure what direction my blog was heading towards since I went hiatus for a couple of months because of my anxiety and depression that was caused by the poisonous living environment Rudy and I were living in. Once we were out it felt like the black cloud had been lifted and I was determined to focus on my blog again, especially once we were back in California. I love blogging it brings me so much comfort and I have been so inspired like never before with posts. I have had so many different contents ideas I have been wanting to put out but I just haven't had enough time especially with also having a job. December has been my busiest month for blog posts but it's absolutely fulling once I see that post published. I'm very excited about twenty-nineteen and I can't wait to see where my blog will be this time next year.

Thank you so much to every single one of you, my readers. I've loved reading all of the kind comments that have been left on my posts and also getting to discover so many new blogger friends. I wish you all a very Happy New Year and may nothing but great things come our way!
