My Favorite Apps For iPhone

Like most people, I'm on my phone a lot. Whenever I'm out, hanging out with friends, or spending time with Rudy I try not to be on my phone as much. For the most part, I feel that I'm pretty good and putting my phone away so that I can enjoy my time with people. For the times that my phone has my complete attention, there are specific apps that I love. I wanted to share with you today my top five favorite apps.

Instagram: The very first app I downloaded when I got my first iPhone was Instagram. It was and still is one of my favorite social media apps. This is the app I am most active on and I love having this place to share my favorite photos in. Thanks to IG I've had a few well-known brands discover my page and some of my photos whether it be past makeup looks, Disney interior, or tattoos of mine. I've even met so many incredible people here too! A lot of Disney lovers and best friends! It's always so much fun for me to post a new photo and see the kind of feedback I may receive from it, also the people it will attract. I think IG is also the best app to try and get noticed. I use it a lot to advertise my blog by adding hashtags that relate to the post. A lot of people search photos through hashtags so if your photo is under a specific hashtag then it will be a lot easier for someone to find you that way. If you have IG don't forget to follow me! VSCO: I love taking photos whether it be for IG or my blog. I always use VSCO to edit my photos, always. I don't like to go extreme on editing my photos and I mainly stick to adjusting the contrast and brightening the image. I try to make my photos look like a better version of itself in a natural way. Other steps I usually include is clarifying the photo along with sharpening it if needed. After I'm finished with those steps the photo tends to look a little dull or washed out so this is when I bring the saturation up a bit. Once all of that is completed I'm all done editing my photo. This app makes it extremely easy for anyone to edit a photo, it even has a lot more options such as all the basics and a few filters. This app is perfect for beginners.

AColorStory: This is definitely my favorite app for fun colorful filters. A Color Story is filled with a variety of editing tools, filters, and effects. I purchased this app over a year ago back when it was first released and I nearly own every single pack they offer. Every time they release a new pack of either filters or effect, I buy it! Their filters are so much fun and for every pack, they have a small note for what the filters are best used for. For example; their Weekend pack comes with 11 filters and they are best used for photos of oceans, sunsets, florals, and lifestyle. Of course, use them to your liking. I love using a lot of their filters for interior/home, photos of myself that was taken outside, and nature photos such as flowers. If you are interested in downloading this app I highly recommend you purchase the entire thing especially if you are one who loves messing around with tons of filters. It's so worth it!

Snapchat: A more personal and in the moment app is Snapchat. This app is a lot of fun and you are able to snap a photo or record a 10-second video and share with all your friends. This is a good way of seeing exactly what your friends have been up to in the last 24 hours. They are always coming out with different filters and there are even specific filters you can use depending on your current location. I have a ton of fun with this app. Rudy and I send each other funny pics and videos all day long. I also enjoy seeing what my friends and family are up to especially the ones who don't live close to me.

YouTube: I am always on Youtube watching videos from my favorite Youtubers while constantly looking for new videos and people to watch. This app is so perfect when you are trying to pass time also when you're trying to learn something new. I swear if you're looking for something, Youtube will most likely have a video for it! I definitely get a ton of use from this app. I start my mornings watching new videos from some of my favorites and sometimes I end my day with a few more videos.
